How to join a league or a tournament

A tournament has a draw and you are told who you play. A league has no draw: everyone in the table arranges their own matches, and the table is the whole result. Entering either one is part of the Competitor plan.

Entering

Open Events, pick one that is taking entries, and choose Register to play. You appear in the standings straight away, on zero points.

If it says invite only

Player-created events are private. If somebody sent you the link, you can open it, see what the event is, and ask to join. The organiser decides from there. If you are the organiser, use Share invite link at the top of your event: anyone who opens it can ask you for a place, which is how you invite people who are not already on your friends list.

Playing your matches

In a league, nobody schedules for you. Use Create league match to arrange a game with someone else in the table, play it, then record the result the same way as any other match. Points move once your opponent confirms.

If there is nobody to play

A table can be full of people too far away to meet. Your event page says so rather than leaving you waiting for a game that was never coming, and gives you the event link to send to anyone who might enter. As soon as somebody near you joins, the notice goes and you can arrange a match.
